Create this kind of graph to plot any two dimensional table-defined data. The data itslef can be easily imported from a file or exported to one.

Click the Graphics|New|Table Graph command to create this kind of graphs. This will cause the Table Graph dialog box show where you can import / export data and modify graphs properties (data, points, color, width and style, intervals and so on).

The Visible option allows you to temporarily hide a graph without deleting it from the project.

Use the Color and Size boxes on the right to adjust the color and the thickness of the curve.

Select\unselect the Show lines option to show\hide the lines drawn between the data points.

The Intervals tab lets you to choose the space for each line. This makes it possible to draw lines that only occupie part of the (x, y)-axes (not the whole as by default).

The Points tab lets you to adjust whether points (data nodes) are shown, their style and size.

The Data tab lets you manually enter two dimensional data to be plotted. The values for x or y must be any mathematical expressions including (if necessary) constants. Press the Insert button to insert an empty line to the table before the selection. The Delete button deletes currently selected pair of values.

The Action list contains several options. Action|Insert and Action|Delete operate as described above. By clicking the Import option you will be prompted with a standard Open dialog which lets you choose the file to import data from. The file is expected to be in the following format:

x1, y1
x2, y2
x3, y3

In other words each line of a file being imported must consist of pairs of x and y values separated by comma. To export table contents to a file choose the Action|Export option. After you specify a file name to output data the table will be saved to it in the format described above.
